Oh and then I forgot. I got a hold of a kenmore/sears call center worker who gives me a number to a small shipping outfit in Iowa who was wondering why I was calling him since he's just a trucking outfit with no ties to them. And we discussed how he keeps asking to have his number not giving out but they ignore his request. Worst company ever
We are so fortunate to have the Little Falls, MN Sears Hometown store. They take a real interest in providing the details the product offers - we'll continue to choose Sears whether for lawn and garden equipment or for the kitchen.
I tried changing subject. I asked for someone higher up and they cannot due that. I call Kenmore number and it says there sears. I call the new number after getting no where that was supposed to be kenmore, number they give me and they say it's sears.
Well laid out store with helpful staff and a great selection of appliances, especially for a small town.
Yet they keep saying to contact the other company. But there the same company just different names so I am got zero help from anyone. Never would I buy anything from sears again. Ever.

I purchased new washer and dryer units both Kenmore. I didn't buy the extended warranty since it was half the cost of dryer. It's only been a few months since the warranty was up. And our wire housing unit just melted due to a bad manufacturing issue. I have been told multiple times sears and Kenmore are not the same company though they are. And the call center employees cannot leave script since the yes get fired. So I get the only response there allowed which is something like this them:"your warranty is up so you'll have to pay a technician to come out and see what the problem is. Me: and if they say it's the manufacturing error from a bad connection and not my fault than what? Them: I don't understand the question me: if they say it's bad do I get another dryer? Them: i don't know, I dont understand the question."
