RENTERS BEWARE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! We rented a trailer late in the afternoon that had just been returned from a week long trip with a family member of the owner. The employee who rented it to us told us the trailer wasn't clean and had not been checked since being returned but we could find it out back and hook up to it. He didn't come outside or show us anything. We made 1 short trip with the trailer to move some household items to a storage unit and returned it the next day. The first thing the owner did when we arrived with it was run outside and look at it and complained that it was dirty and then pointed a several small dents in a panel near the front corner. He claimed we hit it with our tailgate, which we pointed out wasn't possible because it didn't reach and showed him. Plus the dents were under the dirt which meant they were there when we picked it up otherwise the dirt would have been scrapped. He then charge our credit card $375 dollars for the damage that his family member did to the trailer. When we complained he threatened us and said he would not refund any of the money because we had complained publicly about what he did. After speaking with several other people we found out this is typical behavior for this place. I also spoke to several other rental companies who said the small skin dents are a normal part of towing and they should not have charged anyone for them.
