The museum is small, but has very informative displays about different time periods and also a room dedicated to the history of small arms. Outside there is a large static display with tanks, aircraft, and artillery pieces.
Super good museum. I was pleasantly surprised when I went through it. Lots of things to see and read both inside and out. Our teenage boys thought it was cool to.
Very interesting, lots of equipment mostly helicopters but quite a few tracked vehicles and some wheeled vehicles. When I visited there was also a reenactment group that were very pleasant.
It is a good museum if you are looking to learn about Minnesota military history. Many good artifacts and cool vehicle to look at outside.
This by far has one of the best military displays ever! Ive gone here about twice over the summer, and I loved it every time! From early Minnesota militia all the way to present day, there's a display. For me being a young military history enthusiast this is an ideal place for me and ANYONE who likes history, or just wanna take young kids to see! The surplus/gift shop always has something new!
